The effervescent Barbara Brudenell-Bruce is hosting a styling evening at the amazing Suitsupply store in Lime Street, she has the charismatic Cosmo Landesman and five other single gents who will be styled for dating.  With her background in fashion she and a team of experts it will be a lively enlightening evening.

As every woman knows you want you your date to look like he’s tried, but not too much.

As Hardy Amies so rightly said:

“A man should look as if he had bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgotten all about them.”

The team at Suitsupply is on hand to help style our guinea pigs. With a choice of suits and casual wear, imported Italian fabrics that include details you’d usually only find in suits that cost twice as much, like functioning button cuffs. Fashion industry icon Tim Gunn shops there, as he says it gives him options with quality fabrics to have fun and we would all like to date Tom!

Shoes make them good-quality leather lace-ups or loafers are the safest bets. Socks are scarcely less important and should be fine wool or cashmere no Father of the Bride or Christmas socks.

Aftershave following solid advice from Jamie Millar of GQ go classic and unassailably masculine: Dior Eau Sauvage, Aqua di Parma, pretty much anything by Tom Ford. Spray on your chest under your shirt and on your hair to give her an incentive to get closer (wrists and neck wear off too quickly), and never down your trousers.

A room full of singles, stylists and dating coaches will help style our men for dating. Feed your love for makeovers by joining us; we can’t get enough of them, especially makeover TV shows. What not to Wear, Flip or Flop, the Biggest Loser…I could go on and on. I mean, what’s not to love—an outdated look is given new life or a fashion don’t turns into date ready men!

Obviously to make is easier there is a welcome drink and stylish niblets. Oh and there is always the rendezvous secret singles after party sponsored by Sipsmith.
