A Table Full of Possibility

Twenty guests gathered at The Trafalgar on the King’s Road for our first Rendezvous hosted dinner, and from the moment everyone sat down, the evening had an easy, slightly conspiratorial feel.
The private dining room had been transformed beautifully. Little table lamps made the long tables glow, while flowers marked exactly where the enormous, shared mezze platters would land. It was thoughtful, romantic and, importantly, felt like a proper dinner rather than an event squeezed into a restaurant.
The food was excellent. Generous platters arrived laden with colourful dishes, and Alex and August looked after everyone with the sort of cheerful, attentive service that made us wonder whether we’d accidentally wandered into a five-star hotel.
The gentlemen changed seats between courses, which meant conversations kept shifting and everyone had the chance to meet someone new. It worked. Afterwards, the messages started arriving.

“It was a fun event, with great food and interesting people too.”
And one gentleman was particularly keen to be introduced to a lady he had met but had taken down her number incorrectly. Another gentleman was already asking about membership.
Perhaps the best feedback came from someone who described it simply as a “great venue, delicious food and excellent company.”
A huge thank you to Kim and the Trafalgar team for making us feel so wonderfully looked after. The room, the food and the attention to detail made our first hosted dinner together exactly what we’d hoped it would be.
Great food, beautiful room, interesting people and conversations worth continuing. Exactly as it should be.
