Barbara, Bambi and Adrian

Ssh shh …. Bambi Smyth is putting the 76th Man on her Menu!

The lights will be dim and the drinks are on ice as the Rendezvous team prepares to welcome a beautiful group of over-40’s singles looking for romance. This month Goat Chelsea is the unique restaurant in which members of this exclusive club will meet in a safe place where every guest is able to mingle with singles.

Over 4,000 members have come forward – turning their backs on online dating, in the hope of meeting someone special face-to-face.

Louise and Barbara are two infamous matchmakers who get people together based on their likes and dislikes, and who will personally introduce their potential partners at these events.

At this particular event, Rendezvous has famous author Bambi Smyth – of ‘Men on the Menu, 75 delicious dates around the world’ – meeting for the first time a tall, remarkably good looking, entertaining and educated man. Bambi is trying for another shot at love with no. 76, who may have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but he’s yet to strike gold on a date. Taking centre stage for his encore performance is Bambi, but will her date no. 76, a successful concert pianist, hit enough notes to win her over?  Will Mr No. 76 be The One, and perhaps even the first chapter of her sequel book…? ‘How I met my husband’?!

These events have more flirting, more laughter and potentially more successes than ever before. Rendezvous introducers ensure the restaurant is ready for affection to bloom. May greets members, and even the waiting staff are primed to add to the sparkle.

For some pairings, it’ll be their first and last date. For others, with a bit of charm, it might just be the beginning of a lifelong relationship. What happens next is up to them, but at the end of each evening the seeds have been sewn: ‘Will they see each other again?’ ‘Will Bambi be a bride?’

About Rendezvous

RENDEZVOUS hosts the best and friendliest parties at stunning venues to create the ideal setting for our specially invited guests to meet and connect.  Smaller all-inclusive events offer an optional after-dinner hosted by the Matchmaking team. The elegant hotel events such as the ST MARTINS LANE HOTEL event on February 25th are larger scale parties.  Everyone brings a guest of the opposite gender in their fabulous 40s or 50s to ensure an equal number of men and women.  You can invite other single friends to come along as well. Just make sure the male/female ratio balances, or let us know and we can try to match up the numbers for you.

There is a team of four introducers at our London events so you will be well looked after if you are coming alone. We can even connect ladies who wish to network with other ladies coming alone to the same event.

We are active on social media: twitter @RDVLondon, and  Apply for tickets here for membership contact
